Magical

Grace has been a great big sister and even better daughter, and she's been through some tough medical ordeals, so it was time to give her a little treat.

And what three year old doesn't love Disney World?

So we got her all pumped up with practice kisses...

And said hello to our awesome family suite in the Lion King section at the Art of Animation resort.

Thanks Aunt Molly for the fabulous personalized Minnie Mouse shirt that Grace wore for her first big day ever in the Magic Kingdom.  

Ten minutes of continuous singing in an air conditioned building?  Sign Grace up for It's A Small World.  And this is her new pose when we ask her to smile.

Rides are great but even more fun is the hotel pool.   There is obviously nothing more fun than chasing random jets of water shooting from the ground.

Note to Grace's physical therapist: she WILL run endlessly with reckless abandon with the right motivation.

Day two brought out a big case of the "selfies".   We will only give you two.

Grace got to get her cowgirl on too, with a spin on the carousel.   This might look like she waving a royal hand to her adoring crowd, but she's actually saying Yee-Haw!

One of the big thrills for the Gracer was meeting the big man himself….Mickey Mouse.

Full disclosure…Grace is more of a Minnie gal, but we couldn't find her.

Grace was so happy and excited to meet Mickey.  

More full disclosure…after a nice hug, she tried to poke him in the eye.   I mean, those peepers were right there, and so big, and always open.

A huge success on the big first trip to Disney.   We still have many more things to do and see here, but we'll be back, and we'll bring both girls next time.

Since most days here end way too early….succumbing to the Florida heat and humidity.
