Still Waiting

Hi everyone...thanks for all the e-mails, texts, comments, and phone calls the last few days.  We have read every one of them, and they all mean so much.   While it will be just Jenni and I in the waiting room once they take Grace, we feel all of you with us.  The support is overwhelmingly helpful.   Through some of the tears, we've actually been able to smile this morning as well, with Grace often leading the way.

We are still in the intake center.  They've taken all of Grace's vitals and we're just waiting for the anesthesiology team to first apply an oral sedative, which will be administered about 45 minutes before taking her in.  Grace is getting hungry, but is in great spirits, and taking it all in...she loves all the lights and activity.
