Play Group

For the past few months, Graceland has taken her show on the road each Monday afternoon when she takes part in an early intervention play group.

It's a great way for our girl to learn some social skills while burning off some serious energy.

Each of the six children in the group have their own challenges, but put them in a room together, and they have a great time exploring each other and the variety of experiences that surround them.

Grace is the only girl in the group and is definitely the welcome wagon, crawling up to each kid and teacher at least once before settling into play patterns.

And of course sometimes the charm is followed by the classic "got your glasses" move.  (Check out mom in action!)

We love to see our little debutante feed off the energy of the other kids.  (And apparently today was horizontal stripes day)

She loves the circle drum singing so much that she climbs on top to be one with the drum.  Between her drum scaling and her "bye byes" to each person, often accompanied by the signature Gracer slobber- smooch,  Grace is usually the last one to leave.

Your soon-to-be sister is so lucky to have you.

  1. Precious Amazing Gracer Grace, I am so thankful for all of the wonderful opportunities available to you. And hey, being the only 'lady' in the bunch qualifies you to climb on that drum and to kiss and smooch to your heart's content. Atta girl, precious one.

  2. We have that drum at home and Ben is often found sitting on it:) Too bad we didn't live closer so Ben and Grace could drum together.

  3. Addy has that drum too and she LOVES it! It's hilarious when we are downstairs and she is up on the hardwood floors banging on it, it's crazy loud!
