Grow and Row Row

The first week with Sadie has been full of introductions.

Such as....Mom, here's what 3:37 in the morning looks like.  Get used to it.

But how can you protest that hard with these things staring at you?

Sadie was 8 pounds at birth and lost four percent of her weight within the first few days, which is normal.  She also dropped a little weight after going home.

But at her appointment today, just a week and a day after her introduction to the world, she's now 8 pounds, 6 ounces.   Good news for Mama...no waking up Sadie for feedings.   She will let us know when she's ready for chow.

As for Grace, she continues to blossom in her Gymboree and play groups.   We hope to have her in an early intervention pre-school before her second birthday next month.

One of the things I learned in one of her play groups is that there's a second verse to Row Row Your Boat, and it comes with a surprise ending.   Hit it, Gracer...
