On the Move

Gracer is a girl on the go.  Her crawling is much more efficient now, and she's speedy.  No more sending a quick text or glancing at an email... in that time she's already at the other end of our apartment.!

She may not be walking just yet, but she's certainly getting into things covering a lot of ground in the toddler way. Suffice to say, our preliminary childproofing strategies are no match for this gal.

Who me?

She's been practicing pulling up on her knees a lot, and occasionally gets a foot up.  Our next goal in physical therapy is to get her to pull up onto her feet.  She certainly doesn't seem far away!

She used this newish pulling-up-to-her-knees skill last week in her early intervention playgroup to sneak up behind one of her playmates' dads landing her chompers right on his tush.

Classy.

She's the only girl in the class and this is what she brings to the group.  We are so proud.

My cuteness gets me out of anything.

We've got our hands full already....hate to think what it's going to be like with two balls of energy around here next year.

No time to think about that now, gotta' go find our girl.

Gracer, out!

  5. Grace, the Explorer - you have taken Dora's place. Keep on moving - there is a lot to see and explore. You will be walking soon and opening and closing doors - watch out, Mommy and Daddy, here comes Grace! See you in about a month - can't wait to play with you....
