The Fairest

Grace is recovering from croup and regaining her energy, which is a good thing with Little Sister's arrival coming any day now.  Now that she's feeling better, she's back to playing, and there's one toy that stands alone at the top of The Gracer's list: Her Magical Musical Mirror.  

This was a Christmas gift from her godparents, and you can see she was hooked immediately upon opening it.  Darren's reaction, however, was slightly different.  Look at the "what have you done" look he's shooting his brother-in-law soon after surveying the amount of pink, the play makeup and his new life of girlie pretend play.  

And here is his further realization of his fall into the world of pink right after the mirror announced "You look darling!" and "Your smile is so pretty".

But one thing Daddy can't be upset with: the joy that this toy brings his little girl.  It combines her favorite things:  music, textured toys, giggling and, of course, her reflection.  

There's no question who Grace thinks is the Fairest of Them All.
