Family Reunion

The summer before my mom's mom passed away, I had the privilege of spending a week at her house, just the two of us.  One day that week, I asked her how she and my Grandpa had met.  Two hours later, she was still beaming and still talking.

A couple of weeks ago, the offspring of that love story gathered in Minneapolis for a family reunion.

While this picture is impressive, it's not even all of us.  The theme of this reunion was Yes!  My grandparents said Yes to love, and their love blossomed into 7 children, 34 grandchildren and 71 great grandchildren to date.

The original 7 were all there to celebrate the greatness and goofiness that is our family.

Our gals got a lot of attention...

And made a lot of new cousin-bonds

Grace got to meet her cousin Megan and see how awesome her designer genes can be when she grows up.

All in all, a successful first family trip.

Thanks Kaelin for all of your organization to make this happen, and thanks K family....we are proud to be part of this continuing love story.
