31 For 21: The Travelers

Our first cross-country flights with the kiddies is in the books and overall, it was a big success.

We'll talk about our time with family in California in a future post, but first, the travelogue.

When we got to the airport, we made sure our overhead luggage would fit.

And we checked out exactly what was coming.

Onboard, it was four people in three seats.   In super spacious, leg-stretchin' coach seats.

Arriving in California came with golden enthusiasm, despite stepping out into the 90 degree heat.

On the way home, we were on a smaller plane for one of the legs, and due to the air mask placements, one parent had both kids in her care.

While the other parent took care of catching up on current events.

Hey, it's the rules!

After a mostly sleepless flight, the landing in New York was a little less enthusiastic, but the girls were happy to be home again.

  1. It sounds like you travelers had an adventurous trip - that's a lot of miles to travel with little ones. Grace seemed to be very happy when she arrived in New York but Sadie looked like she did not know where she was. I know you had a great time in California - so did all the family and friends in CA.

  3. Grateful to have you two girls back safe and sound and your wonderful parents. Wish we all lived closer!
Daddy's current events look like they might have something to do with fantasy football. And perhaps a little work on his upcoming fantasy basketball draft. In case he forgot to tell you girls, Grammy won the basketball league last season. Going for two in a row! Girl power!!! xoxo
