Our trip to Fairytale Town did not start off well. Apparently, our children decided to embrace the theme by arriving as Grumpy and Sleepy.
Thankfully, the spell was lifted, at least for Grumpy, with the arrival of two Princes....Benjamin and Ryan. This was the first time the girls met their cousins, but it was as though they were lifelong pals.
The boys took the role of tour guide and led the way to all the fun.
The day was particularly fun for Ryan, who never gets to play the big brother role. He practically adopted Sadie, not letting her leave his sight. And for the record, the normally parent-clinging Sadie never even looked back to see if we were around when in Ryan's company.
The "town" is filled with nursery rhyme references. Here is the cheese standing alone.
But the real cheese standing alone was Grace who was just too jet lagged to enjoy the fairy tale.
She did manage to rally after being thrown in Pirate jail for one group shot.
Our girls are looking forward to seeing their cousins again tomorrow, and we're hoping they choose to bring more beauty than beast.
The cousins are having a great time.....meeting is such joy and forever memories - so happy for you Grace and Sadie to meet your cousins..great pictures of fun time in Ca. Loving you....Kay and Jim P.
