When Cousins Attack

The Gracer may need to get out more.  She hasn't had that many playdates, or peer interaction, so she understandably doesn't know all the rules of standard social decorum.  She was so beside herself at the good fortune of a whole week with her second cousins that acceptable social behavior went right out the window.

It started out well.  

She shared her toys.

She was affectionate.

And this is where she turned a corner.  You see, she simply fell head over heels in love with her cousins.  And honestly, I can't blame her.  She wanted to express this love whenever any of them were within reach.  There was no such thing as close enough.

And despite her regularly displayed ability to pucker, she's an open  mouth kind of kisser.  If you don't need a rag after she plants one on you, she hasn't properly done her job.

And while the love was clearly mutual, being a victim of the Kissing Bandit was not always well-received.

Did we mention her persistance?  Even with Daddy intervening, the mouth was open and primed to lunge.

By the end of the week, however, her cousins were enamored and joined in the lovefest.  Notice it's easier to bestow a kiss on the Slobbery Smoocher when she's securely strapped in.

Even the Superhero got in on the action.

Perhaps we have some etiquette lessons to review before her early intervention playgroup starts next month.
