By far the most common question we've been asked recently is "How is Grace adjusting to having a sister?"
She's curious. She beelines to Sadie whenever she's in the same room. She's particularly interested in touching Sadie's head.
And she's loving. She seems quite happy to be the big sis.
In fact, ever since we brought Sadie home, Grace has seemed to step into "big girl" mode. She's standing and walking more, she's singing and vocalizing more, she's problem-solving more and she seems more focused.
Most of all, she's still a lot whole lot of fun.

so cute and so big!
ReplyDeleteafter our initial hard adjustment, the same thing happened with rachel. i don't know if maybe i just noticed it more or if she really did step up to the plate. it's amazing what happens!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Grace is adjusting very well - she has a really darling playmate - I know she can't wait to share her toys with Sadie. Look out, Mom and Dad, more fun is coming. Can't wait to play with Grace and Sadie....xoxoxo
