A Thousand Words

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and things often happen in Graceland when neither one of us is close to a camera.   And so the moment passes.

But we won't let that happen here.

Here are some of the things that Grace has been working on over the past few weeks:

• She is waving hello and goodbye, blowing kisses and clapping more regularly.
• She is learning that signing the word "more" will get her another cheerio.
• She is using more single syllables, like "da" and "ba".   Still no "ma".   Sorry, Jenni.
• She is rocking on her hands and knees, which is a skill needed to learn how to crawl.

And, of course there are some things caught on camera.

Like her music class at Gigi's Playhouse, where she was completely engaged for the full 30 minutes, making us realize that perhaps we should get out of the house more...

And her visit to the library, where a new friend, Quinn, plopped himself right on my lap alongside the Gracer until he received the patented Grace face grab and quickly retreated back to a safer lap..

And the big introduction to...BUBBLES!!!

By the way, Bubbles is not what we named the lamberina.
