We can't say it enough: Thank you! We really were carried through the last month by all of your prayers and support. There were so many times that we found ourselves waiting anxiously for one thing or another, and found ourselves turning to you and finding so much comfort in your comments and emails. We felt like you all were communally taking care of Grace - and us. Thank you.
Would you please keep all the other little heart warriors in your prayers? While we were at the hospital, we met so many people who had their own heart journeys: Dylan, who at 3 years old was in for his 3rd surgery. His mom spoke with genuine enthusiasm saying "How great that Grace was able to wait so long to have her surgery" when I told her Grace was 4 months old! Matheis, whose first-time parents were juggling caring for his twin brother, managing Matheis' medical care and doing all of this while living away from their home country! He's only 3 months old and has had 3 heart surgeries and has never left the hospital. His parents are managing all of this while traveling back and forth to Europe to manage their Visas properly. They did this with smiles, kindness and grace - truly a sight to behold! Julia, who has been living in the hospital for months (as you can tell by the complete Jonas brothers themed room decor) while she waits for a heart to be available to her on the transplant list. And this doesn't even touch on our blog familes' little ones. There are so many little hearts that need our support - please keep them in mind as you continue to support Grace's healing.

It was nice talking with you yesterday. Grace is a strong girl and it is so nice to hear that she is recovering from her heart repair! We are constantly praying, for her and for others who are going through the same journey!
