Does anybody know any turkey farmers, because we think one of them must have escaped and is now roaming around in our house, crawling into the crib at night and giving us some pretty sweet smiles as she shovels down the grub.
Yes, our little spring turkey has realized for awhile now that eating is a good thing, and she's a devoted follower of the food faith. And it shows.
When we told Grace she was going to be weighed this week, she begged us to do it before she chowed down on Thanksgiving. This being her first T-Day, not sure how she heard about that tradition, but we'd obliged to her wishes and took her in on Monday.
On August 29, when she left the hospital after her heart surgery, she had dropped just below 10 pounds. So we put the GoodGrace blimp on the scale this week and...
No wonder she doesn't fit into some of her clothes that were so baggy around Labor Day. Enjoy it now, Grace. Does Weight Watchers have a layaway plan?

That's SO good! She looks fantastic and I like her little rolls! Happy Thanksgiving!

Darren and Jenni,
It must feel amazingly exciting to count your blessings this Thanksgiving! I think I feel your thrill even here in California. Our love to you all! We are so thankful to have the privilege of walking this journey with you.
That's my Grace! You look more like your Grandpa R. with every pound. Enjoy your very first Thanksgiving. You have given everyone in your life many reasons to thank God for this year. Hug Mom, Dad, and your PA. grandparents for Grandma R. and me. We love you, Grace.
