Darren and I both love what we do for work. A day at work might be long, or busy, or even stressful, but we enjoy being there. Since Grace came into the picture, we still love what we do, but we make our way home a little faster. Because there's no better way to decompress after a long workday than a squeeze and a dance with the Gracer. And if you are lucky enough to get The Giggle, well then it's just a perfect welcome home.
Grace has been giggling for months, but anytime there's a camera around, her giggling tendencies seemed to be replaced by her staring mechanism. In fact, we first heard Grace's giggle the day we were going home from her open heart surgery (when we were taking her five month picture). It was more a cackle then a giggle but it was definitely "a smile with extra enthusiasm".
And we've been trying for months to get the giggle on video...with dance moves you don't even want to see. Thank goodness cameras have erase buttons. But Grace was in an extra good mood this afternoon. She must have known her doctor's appointment had been postponed a day. But the grins and giggles came out to play, camera or no camera.
Hit it Grace...
What can we say, she loves a syncopated rhythm!

Grace is so precious. Jenni, I love that song you were singing but I can't remember the lyrics. Please write them out for me and maybe Freddie Bodine will sing it on a cd.
ReplyDeleteGrace and her parents are on my list of reasons to be thankful this season. Great giggle.
ReplyDeleteJenni,
ReplyDeleteIf this PT thing doesn't work out you have a future in making babies giggle. Wesley and I were catching up on Graceland and when we got to the Boop a Booping he started cracking up!! Can I get the extended play version for fussy times?
Love, Charlie
