Months ago, Darren posted that Grace had rolled over for the first time here. And he continues to stand by this statement, despite the fact that Grace has not demonstrated said rolling for months since. Maybe it was a fluke. A perfect combination of muscles moving at the same time that caused her to turn over. Or, perhaps it never happened. (YES IT DID - Darren shouts from the other room) It will be a subject of debate for years to come.
But Grace is now officially learning the art of the roll. It started with the fact that she doesn't love the idea of laying on her belly. While her tolerance is improving, she's most content in adhering to the motto embroidered on her sleep sacks that "Back Is Best".
So we usually have to roll her on her tum tum and then she can maneuver her way to her back again. It started as an accidental occurrence and looked more like a flop than a roll (complete with the thud). Today, however, she started making a deliberate choice to roll onto her back, and it's become much smoother. The PT in me would like to see more extension, but the mama in me couldn't be prouder of her newest skill.

Love, love, love reading your blog and seeing pictures of beautiful grace Would love it if you could post every couple of hours - can't wait for the next one! Xoxo Lisa
