Last weekend we had a mini-reunion with some of my closest friends, also known as the True Blues. Mary and her family came in from San Diego, Jeff from Pennsylvania, Jen from Minneapolis and together with (another) Jen and her family who live here as well, we had half of the larger True Blue family all in one place!
Gracer, as per usual, was the center of attention. Being the newest Baby Blue, she could hardly concentrate on her meal with all the attention being thrown her way, complete with a little Gomez Addams kisses up her arm!
The oldest of all the kids, Jack, captured Grace's heart right away. Yes, Mr. Football is a big softie when it comes to little admirers.
Jen stayed with us and Grace immediately got accustomed to having her around, showing complete reverence to the fact she was in the presence of a True Blue.
Grace also loved Mary and worked hard to imitate her great smile.
Grace (and I) loved our visit and now have a case of the Blues since they've left town. Thanks for the fun visit!
Grace, it looks like you had fun meeting some of Mommy's friends. Her friends have become your friends - how special can that be? I know you must have had fun with them since they are a lively group - singing and dancing!

ReplyDeleteAwwww!! What a sweet, sweet post!! I admit, it brought tears... Yep, that toughie on the football field has a soft spot for the gracer... But who could blame him? She continues to capture the hearts of everyone she meets! (as evidenced also by Tyler, Who appears to be making an appetizer of her arm!) A visit to remember, for sure.
