Date Night!

We have promised this to each other for months, but for only the second time since Grace was born nearly a year ago, Jenni and I went out to dinner tonight. You know, like grownups do.

OK, so the dinner was with two other couples, but still, it was a night out, without worrying (at least in person) about Cheerios, toy bells and blocks, and bedtimes.

We're talking about a restaurant...with waiters...and tablecloths. This was an "order by the bottle" night.

And a heck of view to boot!

Yes, the Gracer had to figure out how to go to sleep without us tonight. How in the heck did she manage?

It was nice to make time to be sweethearts again.
