Down Syndrome Awareness Month

Happy October! This month is Down Syndrome Awareness month, and in the spirit of that we'd like to share this story that we came across yesterday. There's an entire high school in Texas that has demonstrated awareness in their embracing of a fellow student who happens to have Down Syndrome. This is a short news story, but worth the view. Especially watching Mariah while her mom is talking. You might have to endure a short commercial before you get to the story.

And last night, the results are in:

Congratulations, Queen Mariah!

  1. Oh Amazing Precious Gracie Grace, I can hardly wait to see YOU in your cheerleading outfit and what color will your pom poms be? And then your homecoming gown . . . for sure it will be a perfect one for the homecoming queen. You are already a queen to so many of us, but the sky really is the limit for you. We pray that you will have Jesus in your heart. You already have a loving, caring temperament within your heart, and everyone already loves you. What more would anyone ever want from a homecoming queen? Rah, rah, rah! Precious Grace will keep amazing us for all of her years to come. Don't forget Gracie Grace, knowing how excited mommy and daddy will be, be sure and look at gowns designed by well known fashion designers in New York. Why I'll bet that they just might break the bank for that special night. :}

    Love you all!
