Hairstyles of the Young and the Cowlick

Like every young New York socialite, Grace has gone through several hair phases in her short life. Styles come and go like yesterday's diaper, but she continues to rock whatever hairdo falls in place on any particular day.

For example, here's an early short look from the Spring...notice the tapered bangs and sides combed to the back:

Paying homage to TV shows from the 70's, here's her Squiggy look:

Nothing says summer like a day at the beach, and Grace's hair is definitely Hanging Ten:

Fall brings a good, crisp wet combover...

...which works better when the camera is not two inches from your head:

And then there are the days where nothing works. Here's the Kramer:

And the Alfalfa:

We might have to take out a second mortgage on hair products when she gets older.

  1. It gets better! lol Liddy's hair ALWAYS stuck up until it finally got long enough that it actually lays. Now the back of it is constantly a mess of tangles though. We have switched to using suave kids shampoo/conditioner combo and I go through TONS of detangler!
Everyone always remarks about how long her hair is. I never realized how hard it would be to take care of so much hair on a baby so small. lol
Grace is rocking the do. And is adorable as always!

  3. Love it. Reminds me of when my now 2-year-old daughter was about 6ish months old. We called her fave hairstyle the "flock of seagulls." She rocked it like nobody's biz.
