Around noon, we handed off Grace to the amazing cardiac team at CHOP (terrible acronym, I know, but top hospital) who will make clear divisions and tunnels in her tiny little heart so that her blood flows efficiently and effectively. Doctors and nurses, we're counting on you to be your best today, and every trip here has given us the confidence that you will be. Thank you for your dedication to the teeny tickers.
We will be updated hourly once the surgery actually begins (she's still being prepped now). Once we hear, we'll let the extended waiting room (that's you!) know.

Prayers and love. That is a beautiful girl. Sending thoughts that the time will fly by until you get to hold her in your arms and kiss her sweet little face. Waiting is really the hardest part and what comes after can be amazing.
